Our founding partners collaborated and worked together on various shared client initiatives and projects for over a decade prior to combining their talents and experience to form LewisFox. Their diverse backgrounds and experience offers clients a unique practical perspective on resolution of legal problems and realization of business objectives.
LewisFox combines a unique blend of professionals, including attorneys, government consultants, licensing assistants and paralegals for the dedicated and comprehensive representation of our clients.
Collectively, our professionals have helped shape Florida laws for over 50 years:
A total of 3 lawyers and 8 licensing and regulatory professionals with administrative staff are fully dedicated to guiding industry clients through the various federal, state and local regulations governing the manufacture, importation, distribution, sale and advertising of alcoholic beverages and defense of general criminal, administrative and civil litigation actions.
Prior to entering private paractice in 2001, Alexander Fox served as an Assistant State Attorney. As a former prosecutor, Alex provides a unique perspective on enforcement actions and threatened administrative and criminal liability for alleged violation of alcohol beverage laws including administrative violations, dram shop liability and alleged sales to minors or use of illegal substances on licensed premises.
Marbet Lewis started working with the alcohol industry prior to graduating law school in 2004. She works with all three tiers of the alcohol industry including manufacturers, importers and retailers on various licensing and permitting projects, license transactions, mergers and acquisitions and assists with development of marketing, social media and regulatory compliance programs that promote long term business objectives.
Robert F. Lewis has worked with the alcohol industry for over 25 years. Rob formerly served as a special agent with the Florida Division of Alcohol Beverage and Tobacco (DABT) and later as an industry advocate and legal counsel. His experience as both a former regulator and a legal practitioner offers clients a unique perspective on enforcement and regulatory issues.
